Dr Leong Hoe Nam is an Infectious Diseases Physician. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996 and obtained his MRCP and Master of Medicine in 2001 before pursuing advanced specialist training in infectious diseases.
He undertook fellowship training in virology at the Royal Free and University College Medical School, London, and later completed further research training on emerging pathogens at Columbia University, New York.
Dr Leong previously served as a consultant in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Singapore General Hospital and continued his specialist practice at Raffles Hospital before establishing Rophi Clinic at Mount Elizabeth Novena.

Dr Leong has extensive experience managing complex infectious diseases, including transplant infections, multi-drug resistant organisms, tuberculosis, HIV and AIDS, fungal infections, and complicated medical cases.
He has been directly involved in managing major outbreak situations such as SARS and H1N1 and has published research in virology.
He is frequently interviewed by national media and has held academic appointments at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He continues to serve as a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital, National Cancer Centre Singapore, and Dover Park Hospice.
